Demurrage: Whether the ship exceeds the loading and unloading time granted to it or whether the cargo waiting in the container is unloaded from customs before the recognized time

Free Time:  Free time. The amount of time the load can wait before it enters the demuraja. Demurage is applied at the expiration.

THC (Terminal Handling Fee): Port handling fees

Temporary Admission: In accordance with customs legislation in Turkey, containers are customs-subject goods. Therefore, it is the cost of customs clearance that arises when a container is removed from the customs site at the port or brought back to the port.

Freight Terms

CAF: (Currency Adjustment Factor): Including fluctuations in the US dollar in freight

BAF: (Bunker Adjustment Factor): Inclusion of fluctuations in fuel oil prices in a certain proportion of freight for overseas transportation

War Risk Surcharge (WRS): Additional charge for freight on flights to war-risk ports

IMCO Charge: The additional fee requested by the shipowner for the transportation of dangerous goods october

BEAM : Full width – this is the widest place of a ship, measured transversely.

BAF / BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR: The fee for compensating for the increase in fuel prices.

CAF / CURRENCY ADJUSTMENT FACTOR: The difference fee used to adjust the exchange rate difference in UK installations.

CLEAN ON BOARD: The load is clean, undamaged.

DEADWEIGHT CAPACITY: Total ton weight of cargo, fuel, water, roller (company equipment) loaded up to the maximum allowed water of the ship,is the capacity of the ship to lift from the direction of weight.

ETA / EXPECTED TIME OF ARRIVAL: The estimated arrival time.

ETB / EXPECTED TIME OF BERTHING: Estimated docking time.

FILO / FREE IN – LINER OUT: Loading costs belong to the tenant, evacuation costs belong to the equipment.

FIFO / FREE IN – FREE OUT: Condition that the carrier shall not be associated with the loading and unloading costs of the vessel.

FIOS / FREE IN AND OUT STOW: It is that the carrier, including stacking, has nothing to do with loading and unloading expenses. It is especially used in bulk loads.

FCL / FULL CONTAINER LOADED: Single loader/receiver.

FCL / FCL: Single loader/receiver.

FCL / LCL: Single loader, multiple receivers.

IMDG Code: It is an acronym for commodities containing flammable, corrosive, flammable and explosive chemicals in its content

LENGHTOVERALL : It is the distance that remains between the end points of the deckhouse at the head and stern.
